Georgia Beckett

Georgia is currently a final year law undergraduate at the University of Sheffield and an aspiring solicitor.

Originally starting as a work experience student, Georgia is now an integral part of the team at Newport Land and Law. She now takes the role as a paralegal, assisting consultants within the firm, whilst diversifying and broadening her experiences and skills in preparation for her future career in property law.

Georgia describes herself as a self-starter; a hard-working individual who welcomes all challenges thrown her way. Wide-eyed and raring to go, Georgia is a young professional whose enthusiasm, drive and accompanying ability to learn new skills does not go unnoticed. Her key assets include her attention to detail, organisational skills and time management. Whilst assisting at the law firm, Georgia has, and continues to successfully juggle part-time work with full time university study. She also takes an active role in the Miscarriage of Justice Review Centre’s Pro-bono scheme at university as a group leader.

When taking a break from her busy schedule, Georgia enjoys going hiking with her friends, attending big music festivals or burning the midnight oil with a good book or cheesy rom-com, most likely re-watching Legally Blonde for the 748th time.
